CertiPro Automated Inventory Cycle Count vs. Sage Inventory Advisor

Here at CertiPro Solutions, we find ourselves having to continually explain the difference between Sage Inventory Advisor and CertiPro Solutions Automated Inventory Cycle Count.  Understandably so, as from the name, it sounds like they both do the same thing.  In fact, they are both very different products.  We thought to take a quick moment and explain why they are different.

The easiest way to differentiate them is to point out that CertiPro Solutions Automated Inventory Cycle Count for Sage 100 and Inventory Cycle Count for Sage 500 module handles a company’s inventory count process.  Sage Inventory Advisor manages the company’s stock forecasting.

CertiPro’s Automated Inventory Cycle Count addresses the physical inventory count that most companies must do on an annual basis, sometimes more.  The Inventory Cycle Count module makes regular inventory updates easy and efficient by automating the process daily, saving time and money by reducing, and even eliminating the need for actual physical inventory counts.

CertiPro’s Automated Inventory Cycle Count makes it simple to set up regular counts of items. On one screen, you can specify what types of items to count, how many times a year the count should be run, and what to include in count card batch reports.  You can also setup exception days and schedule how often the counts are to be generated.

On the other hand, Sage Inventory Advisor manages the stock on hand, stock-outs, potential stock-outs, as well as excess stock and surplus stocks.  It is an engine that assists in forecasting and planning for future orders.

What we can do for you is show you how other companies like yours have saved time and money by implementing CertiPro’s Automated Inventory Cycle Count.
